Much to the relief of a majority of Americans, so called “Obamacare” has been ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge.

Interestingly, that judge used President Obama’s own words to illustrate his legal decision.  See the video below.

The individual mandate, as it is called, and that mandate’s inseverability from the rest of the legislation proved to be the achille’s heel of Obamacare.  It will now go to the Supreme Court of the United States sometime next year.  We hope there it will be ruled with finality to be unconstitutional.

Speed bump or crash barrier?

Universal health care is a passionately desired goal of the left.  If it is struck down, by no means a certainty, they will bring it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.   Why?  Well listen to the great Ronaldus Maximus explain.

They JUST WILL.  Did you watch the video?  Reagan could have made that speech yesterday unchanged and it would be just as relevant.

Even if we win this battle against the encroachment of socialism, it is only one battle and THIS battle will be fought again as well as many others.   Now is no time for respite.

P.S. Aside from all that has already been said, one of my MAIN objections to government run health care is that they are just SO lousy at running anything.
